A touch of Dutch
Our High Breakfast not only is very tasty, but also very responsible. We work with a selection of suppliers who offer products that take in account the well-being of animals and the environment. Let us tell you a little bit about them:
Schulp fruit juices
The fruit juices of Schulp are made with as many Dutch fruits as possible. The apples and pears they use are solely from our homeland, preferably of fruit farmers based in the 'Groene Hart' region (translated: green heart) of the Netherlands. Next to the fruit nothing is added to the juices; you're only drinking the pure juice from fruits. The whole production process takes place in the Netherlands.
TLANT Granola
The granola from TLANT is a tasty mix of seads, nuts, grains and berries, baked in a traditional oven. Only date syrup and honey are added, so the granola doesn't contain any refined sugars. That delicious signature flavour of the granola is due to the subtle spices that are being used.
Free-range eggs
Our free-range eggs come from chicken that can also scurry around outside. Now they taste even better, don't they?
Wijngaard cheese
The cheese of Wijngaard is made from meadow milk. That means that the cows that produce this milk are able to graze around in the meadow for at least 120 days a week, 6 hours per day yearly. The cheese matures naturally in a ancient warehouse in Woerden, which is immediately the secret (sttt!) to those tasty Wijngaard cheeses. The cheese makers let nature play a big part in the maturing process by using the changes of temperature and humidity to their advantage.
Truly Dutch apples
There are all sorts of fruits available over the world, but there's nothing quite like our juicy Dutch apple. Ever heard of Jonagold apples and Elstar apples? Give them a try, they are delicious!
Campina cream butter
The creamy butter of Campina is made from fresh milk of Dutch cows. And boy, it's tasty...
